Privacy

What happens to what you type into the contact form on hackfiber.com. Last updated 20 August 2026.

What we collect

Your name, email address, the message you write, and the role and protocol you select. The page you arrived from and any campaign tag in the link you followed are recorded with the message so we know which channel the question came from. The request's IP address and browser user-agent are recorded with it as an anti-abuse measure. Nothing else. There are no cookies, no tracking pixels and no advertising identifiers on this site.

Why

To read your message and reply to it, and to keep the form from being used to send spam. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked us a question and we would like to answer it.

Where it goes

The form submission is turned into an email and delivered to info@hackfiber.com. It passes through Cloudflare (which serves this site, runs the Turnstile anti-bot check, and routes the mail) and Google Workspace, which hosts the mailbox. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or added to a marketing list.

How long

Messages stay in the mailbox while the conversation is live and are deleted within 24 months of the last reply, unless you have become a customer and we need the correspondence for records.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to us holding it at all. Email info@hackfiber.com and we will action it. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
